This thing is amazing! I bought it at $50+ and would have easily paid $100, knowing how well it works! Not to mention how easy it is to use. At $30 it's a steal!

Did the rods work with a regular chimney brush head, or do they only fit on this spin brush? These look to be cheaper than buying rods for a normal brush

They provide a plastic sheet so you cut a hole and put the rods through. My chimney top is about 35 feet of the ground and I have a sloped roof, so this is way easier going bottom to top than hopping...

Needed better drill further you went...and didn't feel like it was cleaning as good as the brush. I also think It jammed into a joint and it bent (pried) out a lip (on stainless insulated pipe)...

I would think top down would be much better. Doing it that way would allow you to completely seal off the fireplace/stove opening and let all the soot and crap fall down, without worries of coming...
