To be honst you would be hard pressed to get good results with this tool for that application, I would highly suggest just buying 2x2's , it will likely be cheaper and significantly safer.

While this is cheap, if you don't need it I would wait for something better. I bought my DeWalt corded jig saw for $49 with a carry bag. It is light years better than what is posted here.
