This is a great price for a great 55" TV with these specs. Might not be a popular opinion, but I'd still go with a Samsung 6300 series for better bulk he quality and contrast (non IPS versions)

Picked this up on Amazon for $399 about 3 months ago. So far so good. Samsungs are nice but I don’t mind sacrificing a slight reduction in image quality to save a couple hundred bucks.

Yes the tax can be an issue. They do collect tax here in Colorado but unlike many states it is the state sales tax only. Colorado state sales tax is 2.9%, Colorado does their tax different than most...

They announced they are collecting sales tax in all states now that have sales tax. However, if a 3rd party seller, there may be no sales tax.
