The version via the browser is the exact same thing as the stand alone app. People need to stop spreading false information that YouTube isn't available in fire TV devices.

I don't have a Chromecast. How does the actual Chromecast differ from the software "chromecast" receiver on the fire TV? because for Airplay, it's no different from an Apple TV.

You can buy the AirReceiver app for $3 that gives you airplay, chromecast, miracast, samsung cast simultaneously. On my firestick it works pretty well.
