Prior to the 2016 models, the LG OLED TVs weren't standard VESA mount. You had to get these proprietary mounts. SOURCE: I had to get one for my 65EG9600, but not for my C6P or C7P.

According to the LG manual, 55C6P has 400 x 200 VESA mounting screw holes and this wall mount should work. This deal is gone for now, but you can buy one when next deal for this mount comes up.

I have installed tons of the oled units and most of the time end up not using this mount. Outlets are always in the way. It’s easier and cheaper to use a low profile vesa mount.

I just used lag bolts. It'll be much easier to patch 1/2" holes. The mount works great, and this is about $150 less than I paid for it shortly after the OLEDs released for 2016.
