Those A23 batteries, well most of them, have expired "Best Use by" date in 2017. Outta 4 stores I drove to, on the way home from work today, only 1 store had A23 battery packs with 2018 Expiration...

Now I don't feel as bad. Socks and batteries seem to magically disappear on my house, so I've pretty much reduced my rechargeable purchasing to only those things I control... Pretty sad.

For AA and AAA I do that too now. Another good reason to use rechargeable Eneloops esp for those who live in a humid environment, they don't leak. No eneloops for 9V so these are good for me too.

Prices went up to 8.99. Grabbed a 9v pack for store pickup when they were at 5.39 so a great deal for sure. Cheaper than buying two every time from the dollar store since those aren't alkaline.

The 9v and AAA's I picked up from my local store last week were all Aug or Sept 2022 dates. They are stamped on the bottom of the package so just look before you leave. Hope that helps
