My problem is Idle power. Yes you can have a 1000 watt platinum(or titanium) power supply, but if your pc only idles at 35-50 watts when just surfing the internet, that is well below the 15-20% load...

The problem with that is, that you wont be able to choose the 1080 with the i5-8400. You can only choose the 1080 with an i7. Id love to get liquid cooling, but Id like the 1080 and not the 1070 ti.
