I have been on Total Wireless for over a year now. They do throttle you. My average speed test indicates it is capped at 5mb DL and 5mb UL. But most of the time, this is plenty as I primarily use...

Agreed, Tracfone isn't a good deal compared to Redpocket, Tello, Ting, or Mintsim. However, TotalWireless and SimpleMobile are still competitive.

I did not do a speed test but it will take 2-3 minutes to load a basic google search in town. Same place my friend with Verizon loaded it in just a couple seconds.
