Amazon changed the way they pay authors for Kindle Unlimited quite a while ago for this very reason. Authors now get paid per pages read, so if you only read 5 pages, they only make 2-2.5 cents. ...

This isn't true. You can go to "manage content and devices" and delete it Edit (no delete button?): He's right. There isn't an option to delete Kindle unlimited history.

No, the Kindle lending library allows only one book/month maximum, and is ebooks only, while Kindle Unlimited includes a lot of Audiobooks too (see prior post from clintGA) and allows unlimited...

Yes, unless things have changed recently. The same goes for if you check out a Kindle book from your library via overdrive you can get the discounted audible book.

It was pretty awesome when they used to allow you gift books to people. You could gift the audible version of books for $1.99.
