I’ve always liked Samsung TVs. They seem to do a better at upscaling content and they’re extremely reliable in my experience. My family has never had good luck with Sony televisions in the long run....

If you've got a very bright room then it may be worth spending extra for the MU9000, but most people should go with the cheaper MU8000.

FWIW - the new version of this TV (much higher price) NU8000 does not have the one box. rather has 'clean cable solution' to help manage cords. not 100% sure but think for those that mount this TV...
