The MX500 and MX650 are exactly the same except the motor. Same frame, controller, throttle, batteries, everything. So yea, get the 500 and make it a MX750 later. you will love it.

Unless you ride them on your property any motorized vehicle can't be on the sidewalks etc, the law in Illinois , they passed a law to allow them but I see is only for e-bikes with pedals.
