Yes. You can do that. Just make sure to run a cable from your switch (non-PoE port) back to your router, otherwise, the cameras on the switch will not have internet connectivity.

NVR takes the place of the DVR. Route cables from the camera straight to the PoE ports on the NVR. Then route one cable from the LAN port of the NVR back to your router. Hope that makes sense.

HI Nomoney, A 10/100 Mbps PoE switch should work well enough for these as the cameras are providing compressed video ( H.264 iirc ) and thus using less B/W than a raw stream would.

I believe that the manual says 4tb. I have put an 8tb WD red in myself and that works fine. No reason it wouldn't recognize two 8tb drives..
