Very neat concept.... like a relocation cruise..... but seems very expensive and risky for what you're doing for this company.

Great concept, I would do this just for the experience. No vacation time available, but will keep this in mind for next year.

Means $500 is used to book your reservation and hold for you to pick up, the $500 is basically a fee, non refundable meaning you don’t get it back even if you cancel! So the deal is essentially...

Reading the info on their website it sounds like they add $1000 to your CC when leaving with the RV. You get it back up to 21 days after the rental, according to the FAQ or T&C. Might want to check...

The $500 deposit is part of $1000 bond which u paid when making the reservation. So you paid $1000 at booking and they only refund $500 if you cancel the reservation for any reason. So after return...

Repped just because it's a cool concept. They also have various deals in Australia. That is on my bucket list, so good to know I could fly out there and drive an RV across the country at a low rate.

Non-refundable deposit? That's an oxymoron and doesn't make any sense. Deposits, by definition, are refundable once conditions are met. I hope they'll do this deal again starting in September.

I actually agree with maxblockm. If you can get a 1 way car rental, why not? Land at JFK, drive to Iowa, RV out to San Fran? I'm English, moved to the US and back, then back here. While I was working...

Not a lot of international flights landing in Iowa:-). Imagine yourself going to Italy for instance. You land God knows how far away from this place, so now you need to rent a car to get there,...

Just be sure you do not go thru the drive thru at the fast food joint. Some of these RV shippers restricted the use of kitchens and bathrooms especially on high end units. I saw no mention of...

Is it just me or does this seem like a lot of trouble for a short week in an RV? Unless you live in Iowa and were about to book one to one of the cities anyway, this deal just doesn't seem slick to...

Surprisingly easy. There can be some white-knuckle wobble passing big-rigs, but after a few hours you'll be speeding just like everyone else.

Definitely check into the fee for one way drop off, it can be expensive. At least in Europe, we paid over $300 extra to do a one way.

I'm confused. There is a $1000 bond and a $500 deposit. My total at checkout is $500. This just makes me confused about what the bond is. Are they paying the bond to me upon delivery?
