I just ran 300 ft of 12ga wire as main run, with 16ga spliced off main run to individual lights. I used waterproof connectors inside waterproof boxes everywhere I spliced wire, but only buried the...

I think it did cost this much when these just came out, popularity grew and I guess demand grew too causing the price to grow. Anyway, if design/looks is not an issue than walmart still have these...

Ya, when I decide to get path lights, I'm going with wired ones. The solar powered ones are just too dim, or don't turn off if it's been a cloudy day. How did you run wire? Besides connecting...

I've actually used the Hampton Bay cheap versions for over 3 years - still using the same ones. They all work well and keep working with all the changing weather conditions (Chicago area) and sitting...

The ones I saw had a wire coming out the bottom of the pole to connect to a low voltage line. These were not solar powered, and are different than what this SD post is for. Again, this was an FYI...

These lights should cost $0.50 a piece.

Path lights should come with solar panel built-in as main power source, with auto darkness detection.
