Just started playing this. There is a great guide to installing mods for this here: https://www.kirmiziperfect.com/installing-best-mods-for-the-witcher-1-guide/
If you want to unsubscribe email. https://www.gog.com/account/settings/subscriptions
No way to link this to steam? Have to use the GOG Galaxy thing to install and run the game from Gog.com? Sorry, first time using it.
Ah, so that’s how it works! Thanks a ton for the response :)
Thanks for posting. I now have an extra copy.
I never could get into the first Witcher due to clunky controls+the camera issues at least for me.I still have it though just to have it in the collection.I do need to give Constructor a whirl.

No way to do this on mobile huh? I.e. like humblebundle Edit: Nvm, worked fine with my login.
GOG games are DRM free so you basically download the installation files for the game.
Yeah I tried it out as well and experienced the same thing. Controls are just too funky. Maybe if I were really bored this summer I’d give it another shot. But probably not. It’s a shame I bet the...
The controls in the original were meant to be that way, the emphasis was on timing/thinking, not on button mashing action. They dumbed it down in the successive ones since most people were used to...

The tutorials in the second were far harder than the game itself. Just mash light-attack with an occasional heavy attack, and roll away when you're about to be attacked. That will work for quite a...
Thanks OP. Got it. Rep given.

For some reason I had the opposite problem in that I played a good chunk of The Witcher (until I got stuck in a town where I couldn't find any of the NPCs I needed to advance) and did fine with the...
Anyone have issues with the wallet not allowing checkout? I had to add something in the cart that cost money (and maybe add funds to the wallet itself?) in order to checkout...

Word. It sounds trivial, but when you're use to going to your steam library to play your games, it gets annoying to when you can't find a game only to remember, "oh yeah. That's a DRM game and I...

Just enjoy the .exe. and fre DRM free. Means you can have it on multiple devices, stand alone or linked to GOG Galaxy. GOG and CD Project Red (publisher), have a relationship. Not the first time...

I remember back when I played it there was a mod that made the combat better. It didn't make it awesome, but it was better. Although the combat has improved with each game, it's still not the...
Or use files and group your game icons into logical groupings like FPS, RPG, RTS, Couch CO-OP, Favorites. You get the idea..
I'm liking GOG more and more these days. DRM free rocks.

Keep an eye on http://www.gog.com/connect because occasionally your steam games will earn you the DRM free versions.

Yeah the tutorials for Witcher 2 were absolute junk. People laud the "difficulty" of the game; it's not difficult. A game isn't difficult because it fails to actually teach you how to play the...

As a sided note: I didn't have to actually install the game to get the The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. Only saved the .exe file then clicked on the subscribe button that popped up in the browser...

It is ok. Not great.
I'm getting an "unexpected error" after logging in on the first step. **EDIT - after multiple attempts I got it to work.
No, GOG games are DRM free so you basically download the installation files for the game. GOG Galaxy is just an optional game client. It's not necessary to install and play the game. Update: GOG...
The story is worth it for the witcher. I played it when it first came out so I didnt notice the terrible controls as much as I do now.

ZVSYRAFB code is expired
Hoping to clarify for those who may not fully understand the differences - you can add non-Steam games to your games list. This adds them to the Steam library view so you can launch them from there....

No joke about the tutorial being harder than the game. And once you randomly stumble upon where the parry/block points are hidden, combat becomes like ninja gaiden on easy.
Thanks for posting. I have not played this but it has been on my list for awhile!

Not linked but you can add non-steam games to your steam library. I connect my laptop to the TV running steam big screen mode and play all my games from the same interface, including Witcher 3 I...
