Depends. If your "backplane" is slower than a single SSD or you have some very unoptimized stripe size then yes. Else with proper hardware and setup a array of SSD can be much faster than just 1...

sigh...if you look at the other threads..... 1) plat micro themselves have admitted they aren't an authorized dealer - normally, these OEM drives are sold to Dell, HP, etc. if there's a problem...

Got a reply from the seller. They said it carries a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. But from the comments posted said micron don't do a warranty.

They don't have a warranty for a reason. Also the manufacturer has it's warranty policies set the way they are for a reason. This drive would be good to use as a place to install your entire steam...

Bought one of these last week. Very happy with it so far. Great for running lots of VMs on. Also its speeds exceed the OEM SSDs on my machine.

Apparently, RAID 0 SSDs performs worse in real world vs 1 SSD. It does better in synthetics though OFC. If this is what you're going for.
