My understanding is that only the power head tools (which is the newer models) have changeable attachments. In this scenario, you would need to buy the stand alone trimmer.

On your gas you do need more than 20 min because takes you twice as long with less power. Don’t need as much run time on ego as it gets job done quicker and better.
