I think that’s the catch, I don’t see anything under 100 . This is 50. I guess if you don’t mind spending more.. sure it’s 4K vs 3k but it’s also double the cost.

Yes can be used standalone. And no adapter needed to the iPhone X. It just sits a little awkward, tight squeeze, and no cases. I use it with my iPhone X. Not too often but I do.

I love this thing. Awesome pics but yeah quality isn’t great. It’s fair. The new revision is much better. I’ve used mine on both an iPhone 8 and iPhone X with a little work.
