I personally don’t like the slim. I use both, but the slim is much larger. Although the slim is thinner, it still seems like a larger volume and a bit clunky in my wallet.

I've not used one, but reading the info, sounds like it works off of bluetooth, so someone with the app would have to come in range of your bike.
