Got similar deal on thxgivin for 550 refurb. Added 8gb of ram, another 500gb ssd. Pretty happy with it (though keyboard and touchpad is worse than on fat MacBook Pro)

Just bought the G3 $619 after rebate... Only had the 1050ti though. This is a much better deal. Even though it's a 7th gen i5.

While what you said is true, you can use that visa card to make purchases that one would have used his/her debit card/ cash so its a wash
