I actually had same issue first time I got into DEWALT 20V system. Thought the charger or battery was broken until I finally realized it wasn’t fully seated until it “clicked”.

I've had issues with the battery pack not charging after 1.5 years. Only had to charge it a handful of times in that time. Small yard. I had to jump the battery to get it to charge.
