Best to let an electrician handle that. To do it legally you need a transfer switch. That being said, 2000 watts isn't that much power. You can run a few things at a time depending on the device....

That's actually swapped. The voltage stays the same in parallel but the amperage doubles. I run my 30 amp RV with two of these plus the parallel kit.
