Hmm paying $1 a can for something does not seem like a deal for me? Is this ginger beer made from a holy or famous source for that premium?

I had the ones from both Aldi and Trader Joe's and they both suck imo but to each his or her own. I'll go back to drinking maker's mark and water.

Geez. It's cheaper than you can buy it normally. It's like saying that buying a premium beer at half off isn't a deal because it still costs more than Natural Light.
Post #116663135 added 06-18-2018 9:30 AM by PeteyTheStriker in Deal Talk
I dont drink beer so I have no idea what natural light is. With S&S when it comes to canned soda beverages I have never paid over 75 cents a can at most for anything that's ever been in my cart....

I got a $5 PrimeNow credit for choosing no-rush shipping instead, which made it worth trying out Ginger beer for the first time.

Cock n Bull is the pinnacle of ginger beers IMO. From the bottle of course. Gonna try these cans out for the price with the idea of bringing the mixer to the beach as you can't bring glass. ...

Really? Saranac is one of the sweetest ginger beers I've had. Reeds isn't as sweet. This one has one of the strongest ginger tastes I've had in a ginger beer. Not nearly as sweet

I find the best Ginger Beer to be Goya. I get three 2 liter bottles for $5.00 at my local LIC, Queens, NY supermarket. It has a little bite which surprises our friends who have never had it...

That's a lot of sugar for this not to be sweet IMO... I will say though typically Ginger Beers have a lot of sugar. I'm assuming the extracts in this one, even with the high sugar, make it less...

Ginger itself is spicy. It just tastes more like ginger but like a previous posted noted it depends on the brand.

Is this as good as brundaberg ginger beer??
Post #116655919 added 06-17-2018 11:11 PM by W33Z in Deal Talk
This ginger beer is very good IMHO. It's nothing like your overly sweet Canada Dry or Swepes. It's got a slight chili burn to it. If you consider what ginger taste like, it makes sense.

Got one this morning, thanks. My mother loves ginger beer, she’s home with a broken foot, this will be a nice little surprise for her for the day.

Really? "Far superior to Bundaberg"? Seems like a bit of a stretch as Bundaberg is quite good for a commercial ginger beer.

Ginger Beer is commonly used as a mixer for alcoholic drinks like Moscow Mules. In comparison to Ginger Ale (which has a sugary sweetness to it), Ginger Beers are more focused on a peppery spiciness....

Which ginger beers aren't overloaded with sugar? Fever tree and fentamins both have a ton just like regular soda.

The popular ones? Saranac is less sweet. DG is far less. At least the sugar is more fermented so it doesn't taste like candies. I dunno! And, they are less trendy so they are cheaper. Frankly, I...
