Just picked mine up today. I got it for free from the $10 surprise points and thank God I did. This hose is horrendous and should be $10 regular priced. I only need it to extend my hose for...

Craftsman warranty?
Post #116847559 added 06-23-2018 11:38 AM by XBeatzX in Deal Talk
FYI- Sears recently changed to a different supplier of their highly regarded Premium Rubber garden hoses, and not near what they used to be. Apparently if you can find a ACE Hardware that carry's...

Sure. Sears is just the middleman. As long as craftsman is in business the warranty is good.

Sears? What is a Sears?
Post #116853863 added 06-23-2018 4:54 PM by alanand in Deal Talk
Beware of this hose. Bought one two years ago and another a year ago. The black color will come off on your hands and permanently stain your clothes. It doesn't happen right away. After a couple of...

I think people are getting this deal for a Craftsman medium duty hose confused with the following Craftsman premium hose which I believe has been discontinued since its only available for store...

Even tho it's more expensive how do you all rate flexzilla hoses compared to the good old craftsmen rubber hoses?
Post #116855843 added 06-23-2018 6:35 PM by c2nah777 in Deal Talk
Sad that you have those issues. Maybe you need a better hose management system because my cart (120 ft capacity for regular type hose) is sufficient for the 100ft all rubber old generation Craftsman...

In my opinion a hose shouldn't be longer than 50 feet, because 75 feet+ hoses turn in to a nightmare when you try to untangle and manage them. After 50 feet you are better off extending the hose...

Perfect timing. I needed two 50's and two 100's - which are also on sale. Out the door for $57 shipped. Estimated arrival is July 3rd, which is super slow. Hoping the arrival date is sooner. Until...

They don't exist anymore unless you find some old stock.
Post #116850803 added 06-23-2018 2:11 PM by MBis in Deal Talk
Unfortunately I do not and my hose holder can only handle 100ft.
Medium duty is pretty poor quality. The heavy duty is the one to get as far as durability and maneuvering about your yard. 50 ft is also small depending on your lot size but usually if you're...

if i am just using this to rinse my garage from time to time or my tiny 100sq ft lawn, is this okay? do i NEED heavy duty?
Post #116844107 added 06-23-2018 9:21 AM by Sturmie55 in Deal Talk
Yea, they changed the heavy duty all rubber hose. Supposedly they are not the same quality as they used to be.

Or, if you don't have an ACE hardware, you can try a Dramm hose. ACE Craftsman Heavy Duty or Dramm get your wallet out neither are cheap.

Other stores carry craftsman and will have to honor the warranty.

Black & Decker bought Craftsman last year, so at least the warranty is better than if it were Sears.

Has anyone had any experience with how this actually works now? Previously you didn’t need a receipt or anything, take it to a Sears store, and they replace with same or similar, no questions asked....
