With Amazon you're paying for the unit and shipping and then tax on it. Mine came a day late. I'd rather order with prime and pay the extra for taxes. But that's just me.

Read the Amazon reviews. These cameras connect to servers in foreign countries. Not good for monitoring stuff you don't want the world to see.

Setup filter on router level if you're worried about it and use a SD card to continuously record until the card fills up. On HD and my 64 GB card lasts 2.5 weeks before it starts writing over itself....

I just bought 2 of these (well one of these and one of their Pan Cams and their app is FLAWLESS! The cameras connect ALL THE TIME! I liked them so much I just ordered a 3rd one...the regular cube one.
