The X4 has the same size screen and the Snapdragon 630 is not that much faster than the 625 in the G5 Plus. I wouldn't spend $200 for a 10% or so bump in performance.

There are probably apps, but I have not used them and do not trust how accurate they would be. I just "ball park" it by charging the phone in the morning and checking the battery status in settings...
