I do own G5+ from Prime Day last year. I would say no matter what, the 3GB vs 4GB RAM will eventually be a difference. Moreover, this has 32GB storage vs 64GB on G5+. I would not recommend this...

I'm pretty sure the x4 is Android One from all retailers expect Amazon. I'm not 100% positive, but when I looked at the phone in person at best buy I remember seeing the Android one logo on the back.
