Zurich is an amazing city! Great local rail system and you can easily catch trains to other countries. The only down side is that it is an expensive city to stay in.

7 day pass is NOT worth it for most. You will almost certainly be better off with half fare card or no travel pass at all and just purchase point to point tickets, just do the math and calculate it...
