Yes. This will happen if you overamp your system. I inadvertently put in a Jeep v8 battery in a v6 Sienna...fried most all my fuses. Luckily, the fuses saved the computer.

If you have the extra money then get the FATMAX. I have one and it works great. Lost the charger to it a while back so now need to find a new charger. Fatmax does NOT sell replacement chargers.

I had one like a FATMAX and it died after about 4 years. Wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Maybe more like 2 years ... Stay way from lead acid jump starters.
