I thought so too. I had it activated and it didn't work today. I had also activated the 20% off Amex Holiday Promo so maybe that activation cancelled the $30 promo? :confused:

It turned out that if the giftcard balance was less than the total before discount then the gift card was used and none of the charge went to my CC.

looks like amazon is starting to catch on., i was only able to use this code 1 time this round. in the past i was able to use it like 5-6 times across 8 accounts, every time.
