Fyi- You can get a non-owners car insurance for ~$10/mo, which covers rentals and other vehicles driven by you. I had it for a year by Mercury.

Yes most AMEX cards do offer secondary insurance for rentals but it usually only covers collision and not medial, etc... you also have the AMEX option to enroll into their premium Car rental...

I think you can sign up, be granted the status, and then re-enter your corporate rate for reservations. Probably not eligible for the 6 credits without using the AMEX code though.

True, but if you know your contract ID, you can disable the AMEX E code and manually enter your contract ID. A bit of a pain, but the nicer cars found in the Executive Aisle vs normal Emerald Aisle...

This is a Crap with national car. Did exactly what I am supposed to but I have been told that "AMEX E" code is not eligible for Club Credits.
