It's because 1,000 bytes does not equal 1KB, 1024 does. Each time the next prefix is calculated you "lose" some space due to the way a GB is calculated. See here:...

Umm Bluray rips are typically only 20-30GB. Most of my movies are encoded at 1080P at around 4GB per movie. Crazy your collection your minimum movie size is 700GB which is MUCH larger than a Bluray.
