Izhoucs information is totally wrong for your situation. Chromecast audio is not a balanced connection...using an XLR cable will not make it balanced, there is no advantage.

Got mine for 152 for the pair at bhphoto.. The are pretty nice. The KRK Rokits have more bass but these are closer the Yamaha hs5. With a little extra bass
