Quick question - when you buy Milwaukee (or any of the other power tool sets) at Home Depot and there’s a promotion where you get to pick a free tool/battery, can that free tool/battery be returned...

I've done this many times, but it only works in-store and if the battery was a separate add-on, i.e. wasn't packaged together with the other items.

Hate to tell you, but 5.0 batteries aren't worth $100. You can buy them brand new on fleeBay for $50 all day long. Most major cities, you can get them on offerup for $40.

All Milwaukee M18 batteries are compatible with all M18 tools, whether it's their top of the line Fuel series, entry level brushed tools, or something from a decade ago.

I did too, with the 'free' blade, right? Fortunately it's still in shrink-wrap, so will return and rebuy (you might want to consider doing the opposite -- it's the exact same retail kit/UPC, only...

Way more than good enough, even on most trucks or tractors, even if they were way overtorqued at a shop. The only way this doesn't get the nuts off is if they've rusted to the point where they've...

For the price, the 6.5" fuel isn't bad plus it's blade left which I'm used to. Wish milwaukee would come out with a blade left gen 2 fuel.

I paid $50 more for the fuel version (mid-torque, full size)two months ago, not sure if I can return it. Is this deal worth it for $50 cheaper? or should I stick with what I have?

From my experience regular milwaukee is on about same level as regular dewalt (not XR) or makita, fuel version is on a higher level

Incredible deal on the 1/2" impact. Bought the bare tool alone for more than that and it was a good deal at the time. If you've been looking for one, jump.
