if you don't have network cable access, then you probably shouldn't look at wired cameras. You need to search for wifi/wireless security cameras. But you'll still need to power it somehow of course.

Yes indeed, I'm thinking about using it to help cover the front door and garage. Perhaps pairing it with a varifocal starlight on the garage, and focusing the starlight at the end of the driveway.
