I can't speak to these specific speakers (would agree 3.5" drivers are a bit small for real studio monitors), but PreSonus is not a new brand (they've been around longer than Schiit or JDS Labs (the...

I bought these back in February for $130 and I like them. $75 is a pretty good price, I'd say.

I've been using the 4.5" for the past six months - extremely accurate sound, with crisp vocals. They're powered, and easy to plug and play.

I have the Eris E4.5 that I bought after I was very disappointed with a pair of Edifiers that performed poorly in the high frequencies. Couldn't be more happy with them. I use them as a pair of...

Studio monitors such as these come with an amp built-in, but they do require analog input via typical unbalanced red/white RCAs or balanced 1/4" jacks. So for connecting to a computer with a typical...

Got these a couple of years ago for about the same price. They're not bass boomers but sound fine. Had to LOL at "acoustic tuning"...it's just bass and treble.

Don't think it's appropriate to compare these to Polks as these are studio monitors with amps built-in. The Polks are general purpose consumer passive speakers.
