I've gotten one counterfeit but it was from 3rd Party. It was Codenames. If it's sold directly from Amazon, you have a much lower chance of getting a knockoff it can still happen.

Yeah what kind of sucks about Catan is that if you want the expansions to play with 5 or 6 people, you must also buy the 5-6 add-ons for the expansions as well. This game can get expensive.
