That's true for most sealed processed food. Can goods are good for as long as the cans are intact. The expiration date is a guarantee of freshness, not of food safety.

As a veteran You couldn't pay me to eat this trash again. But this is very slick, they went for about $8 to $10 a piece at the commissary or PX back in the day.
