Depends on the video algorithm. If you use H256 then you can get a full day of driving on a 128gb card and can switch cards/copy off the video when you stop/switch drivers.

I still use a Garmin when I travel because some places in North Carolina and other parts of the country have no phone coverage or drop outs. I don't have that problem with a GPS.
