For a normal user even with lots of video editing, I’d expect this drive to have enough TBW. Hence it should be just fine IMO.

The 400TB write is a bulk number, with the senario you presented, this will burn out in 2 months, not 5 years. The algos are not that smart to distribute writes across evenly for 5 years. As always...

I think this Intel 660p 2TB drive will be faster than your XG5 512GB because of the difference in cache size. Also, manufacturer specs say Intel is 1800/1800 read/write versus 3000/1050 of your XG5....
