Agree with some of this but I did find they did a 'trek with multiple plot points-but instead of a singular episodes, it was on an arc. It all came back together and some story lines were but to bed....

It's great. Season 1 is a mystery which can feel like a slow burn. But once Season 2 and 3 hit, you'll be hooked.
The only negative for me was how it ruined my appreciation for other sci-fi shows...
