I highly suggest you learn to type without looking at the keys. any type of lighting is purely cosmetic and I turn my lighting off 99% of the time.

I have the keyboard. The build and key quality is great. Only thing is that the LED color that I set on the Alienware software doesn't automatically sync everytime I start my PC. It stays blue.
