It could be anything. I would start with the HDMI cable. use a high quality premium certified cable. If you are using anything over 12-15 ft, I would look at active HDMI cables.

You are correct, although I would bet those differences won’t be noticeable to 95% of people. And the B7 has a completely different panel, whereas the B8/C8 have the same everything but processor....

Doesn't really matter, the C8 only does HDR and HFR at the same time with media played via USB. I guess some people might do that but it's really only a select few.

C8 with alpha9 and B8 with alpha7 (carry over from 2017). There should be a difference in picture quality. Question is...is it worth a few hundred $$$ extra? 2019 B,C,& E will have alpha9 gen2 fwiw.
