Thanks, i started out with that camera connection error password issue, then i read this comment and updated nvr firmware and initialized the camera. Camera works now, thanks alot!

Also got a 4tb instead of 2tb. Was getting the conf.LoginErrorNo-18 message for each cameras on the NVR. After a couple hours of frustration I got it to work after downloading the Dahua config tool...

I scored a 8 camera system for $720 as well after my offer was accepted. on ebay .camera specs needs to be verified after i get it , if it can do 30 fps at 4k resolution.

i got 4 tbHDD as well Matt,in my case had to update the firmware from Q-see which gives the camera initialize option that will set the same pwd as nvr.no need for Dahua config tool. Smart pss works...

Hi Cheapa55, Both are Dahua OEMs - hardware wise close comparisons, the LeChange kit cameras had smaller sensors but could do 3 streams and 15 fps vs this one which the cameras should perform...

HI Steely12 No, unfortunately not. US customers who do not know enough want more MegaPixels, Wider FOV - so vendors fill that want even though it is not the best setup for a security camera...
