These are good batteries for what they are and for the price. I don’t put these in devices that don’t get used regularly. That’s the only precaution I take.

After Duracell leaks killed my Microsoft mouse and a couple of Maglite flashlights, I wouldn’t use them even if they were free. Haven’t had a so-called junk battery leak, only the crappy Duracell’s.

I’m going out on a fairly strong limb and saying this is an issue with your device or handling. Duracell and energizer are way more expensive, but also way better than most of the off brands.
