Got the 2TB with USB3.1 enclosure, basically $10 extra for the enclosure. You can remove it anytime.
BTW, the warranty is 5 years right? I can't seem to find clear info on that.

I doubt it . You should look for a 2.5 SATA ssd since that would work in your laptop. sata ssd would be cheaper and you can get 1TB for approx $90
