It's $190 refurbished on Amazon, and it's $199 brand new at Office Depot. The issue is that I need DisplayPort, which the x500 series doesn't have. I need the x600 series. The 29WK600 is $199 at...

Have you considered the refurbished LG 29in 29WK500-P on Amazon. I bought it in December with the 3 year protection and it works great. I use it for work which is a lot of text files, so resolution...

it's 1080 vertical, what are you talking about... same height as a 27'' 16:9, so, yeah... same vertical pixel count. this in no way matches a 27'' 1440.

I think apple led the scene but there is a usb-c take over even in other brands. USB-C can carry data, video and power over a single cable. One cable to rule them all. Its the future.

It doesn't make any sense to compare those two, this has the same pixel density as a 27" 1440p, not 1080p

People with Macboook pros who don't want to live in dongle hell. Some of the more expensive versions will charge you computer and pass the display from the same cable, that is a huge benefit for me.

From what I've read, it depends on the cable and monitor. HDMI 2.0 does 75hz.

I justed picked up an Aopen 31" 1440p monitor. I compared the 31" to 34"+ ultrawides at a local store and realized I like the height of the 31" better. The ultrawides are more narrow but wider. I...

I’m waiting for a decent 29” 1080p ultra wide for sub $200 for work. I have a 34” 1440p at home, but I really want the screen real estate for excel/reporting at work. If I’m coming out of pocket for...

Only HDMI connection. My tech friend tells me you can't get a 75 Hz refresh rate over HDMI. It has to be some other connection, like DVI, D-Sub, DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort, etc.

It’s like asking why even make cars that can’t run as fast as a Ferrari. Each has its place on the market.
