the problem is samsung shows ecert as a coupon and directly subtracts that amount without showing the actual amount.

you may be right. But i will give it a try to convince them that i applied a gift certificate which is same as gift card. Citi will refund upto max amount i paid from citi. Lets see.

The problem is the Citi may not pricematch due to it showing the $125 certificate.
They have became more picky with their claims ever since Discover and Chase discontinued it.
