Both should do fine for you performance-wise. I would get the Ryzen machine (to save money) unless you need the extra battery life. Then it would be worth the $50.

That laptop is significantly inferior to this one, in terms of portability, design and battery life. Also, the Processor is the first generation Ryzen APU whereas this one is second generation Ryzen....

Just did some digging and I don't think this model has IPS panel. As per Lenovo Official spec for the S340 Ryzen models, only the Touchscreen models comes with IPS Panel whereas the Non-Touch version...
