Just a comment on the batteries... You can use rechargeable batteries which are relatively cheap on ebay. I believe the manufacturer states not to use them but mine have been fine for a couple years...

I agree with this. However, as these are only add on cameras, the intended user would already have the base station. I definitely wouldn't recommend getting these then buying a base station...
