I have a Whirlpool and had the same issue. I just had to roll it out and unscrew the back to clean things up because it gets dusty and dirty back there. Add water and it cakes up bad.

Agreed on the plastic drawers. Ours is about 5 years old and they are cracking already. Had to find a couple plastic replacement parts on eBay which were crazy expensive.

Kenmore by LG stay away. I just went with GE from Costco after my Kenmore crapped out after only 7 years. Had problems during that time.

I actually don't believe I'll buy another fridge with a water/ice dispenser in the door. It's a common mode of failure in my experience.
